Grey Investigations detective agency is a dynamic detective agency based in Ghent, serving businesses, individuals, lawyers and bailiffs for both private and corporate investigations.
Art. 3 Act of 18 May 2024 regulating private investigation: the activity of collecting information obtained by processing information about natural or legal persons or regarding the circumstances of acts committed by them, has the objective of providing the collected information to the client to safeguard their interests in the context of an actual or potential conflict, or to trace missing persons or lost or stolen goods.
You can always contact us for a no-obligation conversation. We prefer to conduct this initial interview at a neutral location proposed by us or a location of your choice, so as not to compromise the investigation. If desired, this conversation can of course take place at our office in Ghent.
During this first conversation, we will assess whether we can help you. If you decide to work with us, in accordance with the law, an agreement and an investigation assignment document will be drawn up, specifying a precise description of the assignment, your legitimate interest, our fees and estimated costs.
To increase the chances of success, it is crucial that you provide us with as much information as possible about the person or party involved at the outset. During the investigation, we will keep you informed of the progress of your case at an agreed time and manner.
At the end of the investigation, a detailed and legally usable final report is prepared, together with the evidence found. Afterwards, as the client, you decide what to do with the result: keep it to yourself, confront the person involved, or use it in legal proceedings.
Since the professionalisation, meaning mandatory training and licensing, of the private detective profession, there has generally been a fruitful collaboration with lawyers, notaries and bailiffs. As private detectives, we collect useful information that is essential for building a strong case. The report of a detective is now well received by most judges and can therefore carry significant weight in decision-making.
Grey Investigations has various high-tech resources and observation and recording equipment to carry out its investigations. Depending on the investigation and situation, the subject is followed using one or more cars, a bicycle or a motorcycle.
A single conversation often clarifies a great deal. Non-binding, discreet and without obligation.
